The third volume of MacArthur's daily readings on the life of Christ, carrying the sequence through to its close. Read more.
This third volume continues Daily Readings from the Life of Christ, supplying short daily meditations drawn from John MacArthur's expository preaching through the Gospels. As with the earlier volumes, each reading takes a passage from the Gospel narrative, explains what it reveals about Christ's person and work, and applies it, following the course of His ministry toward the cross and resurrection.
The volume stands alone as a year of devotional reading but reads best after volumes 1 and 2, since the sequence follows the Gospel narrative. It suits believers wanting exposition rather than sentiment in their daily reading, and the brevity of the entries makes it sustainable.
