Spanish-language edition of John MacArthur's The Master's Plan for the Church, on biblical church leadership and the qualifications for elders and deacons. Read more.
This is the Spanish-language edition of John MacArthur's The Master's Plan for the Church. It is absolutely essential, MacArthur argues, that the church understand itself as an institution existing for the glory of God. Christ never intended that church leaders be chosen by seniority, bought with money or inherited by descent, and he never compared leadership to a monarchy. He compared leaders to shepherds of sheep.
From that image MacArthur sets out the plan the Lord himself drew for the government and life of his church, working through the biblical qualifications for elders and deacons, the difference between spiritual leadership and the corporate model, and the congregation's responsibility toward those who shepherd it. Drawn from decades of pastoral ministry at Grace Community Church. All text is in Spanish.
