On August 23, 2025, the memorial service for Pastor John MacArthur was held by Grace Community Church. This program was distributed to those in attendance and we are making it available to you for free. Included in this program is a booklet by Pastor John entitled, On Finishing Well. In this booklet, he urges us to remain faithful and endure to the very end. As his life will be an enduring example of faithfulness to us, may also our lives be worthy of imitation to those God has entrusted to us.

John F. MacArthur was Pastor-Teacher of Grace Community Church for 56 years (1969-2025). During these faithful years, Pastor John exposited the word of God every week to those he had been entrusted. Alongside his enduring preaching ministry, Pastor John invested greatly in the lives of young people through The Master's University and The Master's Seminary. Through these institutions, thousands of young people and families have been sent out to proclaim Christ all over the world. Pastor John was also a husband, father to four, grandfather to fifteen and great-grandfather to nine. On July 14, 2025, Pastor John entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
