Death is the enemy of every human being and many people want to avoid the subject, but it is inevitable.
Your life in this world will end. Do you often think about your death? If you do, how do you feel? Does it take away your sleep or peace, or does it sadden you, filling you with anxiety and fear? Are you curious or serene, or are you indifferent to the subject?
Regardless of how you feel about it, the truth is that our life is like “a vapor” (Jas. 4:14) and “like grass” that quickly “withers and dries up” (Ps. 90:5-6). In other words: sooner or later death will come.
The goal of this book is to take us to the Scriptures-God's revelation and plan-to learn how to think about death and how to respond to the reality of life's transience and temporariness. Without beating around the bush, this book points to Christ, in whom we find hope, because He conquered death with His death!
