The book "Biblical Eldership: Restoring the Eldership to Its Rightful Place in the Local Church" covers over fifteen passages of Scripture on church eldership. Because these passages are “God breathed,” they are sufficient for guiding our leaders and churches and must therefore be taken seriously. Each passage has been interpreted with care, incorporating the best of biblical scholarship. While this is valuable teaching, it results in an overwhelming amount of detailed content—too much to remember and too easy to forget. Because these truths are so important to the local church and its leadership, they should be regularly reviewed. To that end, this volume of selected readings is designed to aid church leaders in reviewing the biblical content and expositions of the relevant Scripture texts in "Biblical Eldership." This book contains 105 select readings from "Biblical Eldership"—formed into short, easy-to-read chapters. Each chapter takes about four minutes to read. These can be read individually or in group meetings. This can be an invaluable tool in your ongoing education and training in pastoral leadership.
