The Valley of Vision gathers prayers and devotions drawn from the writings of the Puritans and their heirs, arranged by Arthur Bennett under headings that follow the Christian life: the Trinity, redemption and reconciliation, penitence and deprecation, needs and devotions, holy aspirations, approach to God, the gospel, the Lord's Supper, and the seasons and times of life. The title comes from the opening prayer, which asks to be led to the valley where the vision is clearest.

This has become the most widely used devotional book of Puritan material in print, because the prayers give words to believers who find their own prayers thin. It suits private devotion, family worship, and public prayer in services, and it is among the most frequently given gift books in Reformed churches. Available here in paperback.
