Lauded as the best study available of Paul's first letter to Corinth. Gordon Fee's revision, working from the updated NIV and twenty-five years of scholarship. Read more.
This landmark commentary, first published in 1987, has long been described as the best study available of Paul's theologically rich first letter to the Corinthians. Writing primarily for pastors, teachers and students, Gordon Fee offers a readable exposition that makes Paul's ideas and their theological significance plain.
The revised edition is based on the updated 2011 edition of the NIV and takes account of the considerable scholarship on 1 Corinthians published in the intervening twenty-five years. Fee also removed the chapter-and-verse scaffolding that had made the original harder to read continuously, which makes this edition the one to buy.
