Acts is a book of action, but whose? The obvious answer is the apostles, since the book's full name is the Acts of the Apostles and it recounts their efforts to take the gospel to the nations.

Yet it can equally be read as the Acts of the Holy Spirit, poured out like a mighty rushing wind to empower their witness and open hearts to believe. R. C. Sproul works through the narrative with his usual clarity, drawing out the doctrine and the pattern it sets for the church.
