Micah lived in dark times and often seemed a lone voice. Dale Ralph Davis on a prophet whose situation is closer to ours than we might like. Read more.
The prophet Micah lived in dark times. He belonged to a small remnant of faithful believers in a godless society where corruption and violence were rife, the vulnerable were exploited, and the religious leaders would not name the people's sin but told them what they wanted to hear.
Dale Ralph Davis shows how many of the situations Micah addresses press directly on Christians in various parts of the world today, and presents the prophet and the faithful remnant he ministered to as examples. Micah warned of a judgment from which even the believing remnant would not be exempt, and in the same breath pointed his hearers to the coming of Christ.
