All Christians have been made free by Christ, and not all have an equally strong grasp of what that means in practice. Some are weakened by scruples about things strictly neither right nor wrong, while others assert their liberty in a way that risks doing violence to the consciences of the weak.

Paul addressed exactly that situation in Romans 14, insisting that Christian liberty be maintained and never used as a weapon. In this last volume of his Romans series, Lloyd-Jones concludes that true Christianity is not finally concerned with what may be eaten or which days should be kept - and shows what it is concerned with instead.
