Revelation attracts more commentary and less clarity than almost any book in the canon. Thomas Schreiner takes it slowly, reads it in its first-century setting, and refuses to turn it into a calendar.

A leading evangelical scholar whose BECNT volume on Romans has sold nearly forty thousand copies, Schreiner here works through the Greek text, the Old Testament background and the pastoral purpose of the Apocalypse. Winner of the 2024 Christian Book Award for Bible reference works; part of the award-winning BECNT series.
